We were quoted 15 min during peak lunch rush and the team moved like a well oiled machine. They under promised and over delivered. Food was either à la carte or buffet and my husband and I opted with the buffet. I ordered the Mango slushie and it was delicious. Definitely recommend, food and service was excellent!
We tried to get a reservation but they were pretty booked out so we ended up as a walk-in and were on the waitlist for the lanai for about 40minutes. But considering we were pretty tired from traveling and that we could just wait on the beach in Waikiki at sunset, it wasn’t too bad. We got seated near the live music which was nice. The musicians were taking requests and add a lovely Hawaiian spin to every song. Our server was very kind, took our orders promptly and food came out in good time. Portions are big and tasty. My husband had two Mai Tais, although he did mention the first one was pretty light while the second one made up for the first. We enjoyed our time at Duke’s. Unfortunately we were too full to try their hula pie but we may just order that to go and enjoy it on the beach one of these nights. Oh a nice little bonus was at the end of our dinner, we had a great view of the night drone show happening on the beach. Great seats, great vibes, and a good time 🤙🏼
Duke’s Waikiki was one of our favorite dining experiences of the trip! The food was absolutely outstanding. The lobster was the best we had during our entire vacation—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We also loved the catch of the day and the teriyaki steak, both of which were delicious and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was very tropical feeling, and the service was good. Between the location and amazing food options, it’s easy to see why Duke’s is such a popular spot. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Oahu, Hawaii!
Absolutely loved Duke’s Waikiki! 🌺 The location right on Waikiki Beach is unbeatable, with an amazing ocean view and a wonderful atmosphere. The food was delicious, especially the fresh fish and seafood, with a great selection for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything was fresh and beautifully prepared. The service was excellent and very friendly. We enjoyed every meal here and would definitely recommend Duke’s to anyone visiting Waikiki! 🌊🐟❤️
We had a great time here! Nice seaside restaurant with great views. Good service by Andrew! We got fish tacos and one buffet, which included all sorts of stuff such as coconut shrimp, made to order poke bowls, salads, etc. too much to list here, see my photos. And, the mai tais were superb!
Absolutely AMAZING everything. The food was delicious, the young men that were hosts and waiters were so respectful and engaging and kind. It was our first place to eat since arriving to Honolulu and we were so impressed. The crab ragoons were delicious! 10/10 recommend. We came from VT for our honeymoon, what a beautiful location facing the water, plenty of seating and very good service even with every table in the entire restaraunt being filled. They have a great flow and amazing moral.
We LOVED Dukes!!!! Totally understand why there’s queues everyday. An absolute vibe & very lively inside. It’s also facing the ocean. More importantly the food was yummy. Loved the fish it was so juicy. Same with the chicken - well portioned too. Can’t say no to the hula pie heheee, btw it’s huge. We actually did a walk in & was told that it would be approx an hour but got our table around 30-40 mins
Came here for drinks only. It was super busy but overall it was a good time. Came back to try the food and I had to come back another time after that! Lol the food is so good! I love the live music while dining. The first time I visited, I didn't really hangout in the dining area because it was too crowded. The other times I have had the dine in experience and it was a good time. The servers are super friendly and professional. I will have to keep visiting this spot. Overall great food, service and the atmosphere is fun. Also, you can't go wrong with live music. Try the piña coladas
Great views and atmosphere. Excellent buffet lunch if you are into buffets. Price was just over $30 for the buffet. It had shrimp but not coconut shrimp so I had the burger and fries. The pulled pork nachos were excellent according to other family members who had most of the toppings put into a bowl on the side. The fish and chips was also rated highly by family members. The portion were ample. The Mai Tai was also very good.
